News: When And Where To Focus Your Listings In April 2021

We’re back with our monthly feature and as we enter the 2nd quarter of 2021, with global vaccine rollout set to improve the country’s economic outlook and REDHA expecting propery market recovery by 2H21 – more than ever, this is the best time to ensure your listings gets maximum exposure! 

Let’s take a look at property seekers’ behavioral data over the past month. 

When to Focus Your Listings  

Based on Google Analytics report between 28 February to 28 March 2021, Sunday takes a clear lead with the highest pageviews (18.1%).  

This is followed closely by Monday (14.4%) with the remaining days between Tuesday until Saturday distributed quite evenly.

As for time of the day, however, 7PM to 9PM recorded exceptionally high traffic indicating that property seekers are most active after dinner time. Throughout the day, we see search traffic picking up from 8AM onwards and then remain consistent from 12PM to 6PM.  

However, same as last month – 1AM – 6AM tends to be the time when property seekers are least active

Where to Focus Your Listings  

Here are the Top 10 Most Searched Areas categorized by properties for sale and for rent from 28 February to 28 March 2021.  

Unchanged from last month, Johor Bahru, Shah Alam and Damansara remains Top 3 for highest search in terms of properties for sale.  

On the other hand, you’ll also notice high demand by property seekers for properties to rent in Damansara, Shah Alam and Subang Jaya – likely due to the close proximity to commercial hubs and convenience offered within these areas.
